Gail and Emma’s attention to detail and service is second to none. It was such a treat to layback on the chaise-langue and watch as dresses were tried on a fitted with care and attention.

Bridal Reloved Barnstaple
Bridal Reloved Barnstaple is a local, independently owned, eco-friendly bridal boutique in North Devon that is part of the Bridal Reloved Franchise family. They offer a range of designer dresses to suit everyone’s needs, and most of their dresses are sold at just half the RRP. Did you know that the carbon foot print of a wedding day is the same as one whole years footprint, generating up to 600lbs of rubbish? That it takes 10,000 litres of water to create the average wedding gown, and it can take thousands of years to decompose once they end up in landfill, releasing harmful gasses into the atmosphere? Wedding dresses are considered to be one of the fastest fashion items in the world and are only designed to be worn just once, on your wedding day!
The majority of the dresses in our boutique are ex-samples. These dresses may have been tried on before, but most are brand new with tags and were never intended to fulfil their wedding destiny, until they take them into our boutique, for their beautiful brides-to-be.
They do also offer a small selection of pre-loved wedding dresses that have only ever been worn once, some of them only for a few hours.
In recent years more and more couples have become more concerned about the impact their wedding is having in the environment and internet searches have recently seen a 38% increase in pre-owned and eco-friendly dress searches.
By offering these dresses to their brides, they are not only able to slow down the life cycle of a truly gorgeous gown, but are able to pass on the substantial savings of these luxury designer dresses to our brides.
Good for the planet. Good for your pocket.
They do also stock a range of brand-new wedding dresses by eco-friendly designers, using sustainable materials, which are hand-made, avoiding machine pollutions, saving water and massively reducing the carbon footprint of the dress. These dresses are also designed with curves in mind and are available up-to size 36.
