Country Ways gives you the opportunity to share a wonderful getaway experience with up to 120 of your friends and family in a stunning and very private location. With extensive gardens and large level lawns for a marquee, you can celebrate in style with the magnificent North Devon scenery as the backdrop for your special day.

Moreton House
Moreton House is a grade-II listed Georgian country house on the outskirts of Bideford, near the beautiful north Devon coast. Family owned and lovingly restored, the venue is available for exclusive hire for weddings and functions for up to 70 people. Luxurious accommodation for up to 30 people and four grand elegant function rooms with stunning period features yet a surprisingly homely feel. Indoor or outdoor ceremonies with our 5 acre mature landscaped gardens surrounded by trees.

With so many beautiful rooms onsite for the ceremony as well as the reception, the venue had everything you could possibly need for a perfect day.
All the staff and volunteers were fantastic in helping us organise every detail of the wedding and my husband and I arrived on the day with confidence that everything was in hand.
They have numerous contacts and recommendations for caterers, decor etc. So it felt easy to pull the day together.
All of our guests commented throughout the day how great the venue was and how beautifully unique and historic the building was.

Little Silver House, overlooking the beautiful Taw River valley in North Devon is the home of Little Silver Weddings. Owners, Peter and Lisa have been creating gorgeously-relaxed luxury "getaway" places for guests to unwind, celebrate and enjoy their time together in wonderful surroundings. In 2014, they fell in love with Little Silver House, and who can blame them? Stunning views, gorgeous architecture, and the wonderful sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed on the terrace was enough for them to take on a 5 year renovation project resulting in the beautiful property and grounds you see today. They have hosted engagement stays, anniversary celebrations, vow renewals and honeymoons and, with the romantic market seeming to choose them, it seemed a natural progression to offer intimate weddings and elopements.”

Our wedding at the end of April was just perfect! Little Silver House is a stunning wedding venue, offering several locations to hold the ceremony, all of them beautiful. The grounds are stunning; perfect for a set of wonderful photographs to cherish. Little Silver Nugget provided spacious and comfortable accommodation before and after our special day, and the private hot tub was just the thing to relax in after the celebrations. The perfect place for an intimate country wedding. We recently got married and had our wedding reception at Honey Meadow Retreat. Firstly Harriet and John are the most amazing people and from our first visit they immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. The cottage and grounds are simply beautiful. We didn't want a traditional wedding reception and Harriet worked tirelessly to make our day really special. Harriet was also our private chef for our wedding weekend, she not only provided a hearty Devonshire breakfast before the wedding, but also provided a three course wedding breakfast (making allowances for various dietary requirements) and also made us an amazing BBQ hamper for the day after the wedding. Now to say the food was outstanding would be an understatement! The accomodation was great and very spacious for all our guests. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but honestly Harriet was fantastic, nothing was a problem - even our odd requests like playing croquet on the lawn after our wedding breakfast. The wedding planning at Honey Meadow Retreat was so easy and such an enjoyable and personal experience. My husband and I had the best day of lives and every one of guests loved everything about the wedding. We absolutely loved Honey Meadow Retreat and we will be returning to this amazing place for mini-breaks for years to come. Thank you so much for making our day so very special and one we will remember for the rest of our lives.
