Where to go on honeymoon?
This is entirely dependent on you and your likes/dislikes/budget and annual leave allowance. For some couples, a luxury love-nest on a perfect white Sandy beach is their ideal. Others may prefer an adventure, such as hiking the rainforests or a safari. Gill is there to understand what makes you tick, and recommend the honeymoon location that she believes will suit you.
When to go?
Traditionally, Honeymoons are taken right after the wedding, but if your wedding is in September and Mexico is your ideal destination, this is actually hurricane season so she'd usually suggest travelling at a later date when the weather will be better. Lots of her customers will usually take a “Mini-moon” just after the wedding to relax for a few days to tide them over before the big one.
When to book?
If you’re able to, Gill suggests booking the honeymoon as soon as you’re able to secure the perfect property. However, budget restrictions may mean this isn’t possible, and that’s fine too. One of Gill's couples saved for 2 years after their wedding for their honeymoon, and she made sure it was extra special for them. Gill will always work with your budget to make sure you get the best value for money.
Where's Hot?
Couples these days are really focusing on the bucket list experience for their honeymoon which Gill loves! Some of her favourites have been -Swimming with the wild pigs in the Bahamas. -Diving with Manta rays in The Maldives. -Seeing the Northern lights on a late evening husky sled ride. -Whale watching in Canada -Hiking to Everest base camp (no, really!)
Why should you use an agent when you can book online?
It’s a little known fact that there is only around 48% of all the available holidays available online to the public. As an experienced agent, Gill has built up contacts all over the world to ensure you get the very best experience for your trip. Even more important than that is the financial protection. If you book your flights and hotels separately, you don’t get the same level of protection as you would via an agent. So if something goes wrong, you’re covered. Think of Gill as Not Just a Travel Agent, but your personal concierge. You’ve got enough to think about with the wedding to worry about printing off your boarding passes and wondering if you’ve pre-booked your seats on the aircraft. Gill will also be available to you whilst you’re away, so if something happens, she will do her best to resolve it for you.
