Venue Tawstock Court is an 18th century manor house in 32 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands. A family run wedding venue that they have lovingly restored since buying it back in 2012. They are still continuing to renovate and have recently added some beautiful restored wood to the reflectory. Tawstock is located near Barnstaple and is perfect for weddings, courses, workshops & events with accommodation on site available. Photography & Videography Laura from Freeformimages Photography was our event photographer for the day, she specialises in weddings, elopements and portraiture. Travelling to wedding venues across the South West to take memorable photos of your day, Laura has relaxed style making you feel at ease in front of the camera. Julie from Julie Wicks Photography is also one of our highly recommended photographers, having been a photographer for over 20 years she has extensive knowledge to ensure an enjoyable experience of capturing the special moments of your day. Husband and wife team Mark and Jade from Coastal Imaging are videographers with a passion to provide creative and atmospheric films for their couples. With attention to detail, yet remaining unobtrusive enabling them to capture your day. They have a drone license as well as a camera.
Make Up & Hair Accessories Kath from Stylesister is one of our make up artists, she is professionally trained and uses a natural look approach to your make up to enhance your beauty whilst ensuring that it photographs well. Michelle from Arbonne & part of Devon Sparty is another of our fabulous make up artists, alongside this Michelle can help you with wellness to enhance your skin, body and mind. HEY JULES! creates bespoke personalised head pieces for your wedding day such as boho wedding hair vines, wedding hair combs, to matching necklace, bracelets and earrings. Also for the mother of the bride or guests at your wedding she can custom make hatinators or fascinators. Dragonfly Creative created the colourful head pieces below, so if you want the colour pop for your wedding day get in touch with Lucy to find our more about her headbands available.
Cakes and Catering Jax's Cakes 'N' Bakes is one of our wedding cake makers, she is also an event caterer. Jax travels over Devon and North Cornwall, from elopement weddings for just the 2 of you up to weddings of 160+ Jax and her team can make sure your day runs smoothly. The trio of cakes and the sharing platter below are both some of Jax's delicious work. Dawson & Co have recently expanded with the addition of their horsebox so they can now offer luxury ice cream from their tricycle and cream teas and luxury desserts from their horsebox. Claire's Sweet Temptations is based on the North Devon/Cornwall border with a studio in Clovelly and a London base at The Wedding Gallery, the David Austin rose is one of the many beautiful hand made sugar flowers she can create to adorn your wedding cake. Chef Duet supplied delicious canapes for our guests to enjoy throughout the day. Donna and her team can help you with your catering needs including a hog roast.
DJ & Props Inspired Party are a husband and wife team with a selection of DJ booths to fit in with your theme at your wedding. They can also provide LOVE letters, dance floors, mood lighting as well as bar hire.
Hen Party If you are looking for a hen party idea that everyone can enjoy, maybe create something unique for your wedding day then have a chat with Jax from Tarka Pottery she has her own studio where you and your hens can enjoy a hen party with a difference!
Childrens Entertainment & Creche Having children at your wedding, maybe you have a small family of your own Gilly from Gilly's Helping Hands offer a child minding service and creche at your wedding venue. Gilly brings along toys and activities depending on the age of the children to keep everyone entertained. Bridal & Menswear Always & Forever bridal shop located in Bideford has a range of lovely wedding dresses for you to choose from. They are also able to order in custom made suits for the groom.
Styling Do Me A Favour styled the Refectory at Tawstock Court with lights and ceiling drapes, making it look magical. Vicky and Denise together styled the hexagon arch way, what a gorgeous place to stand under to say your vows. Vicky has styled her table with a gold candelabra with matching gold cutlery and charger plates finished off with greenery from Denise to create a lovely rustic wedding table setting. By Jacqueline J set up a table in the paneled room using her gorgeous 3D flower table cloth and matching chair sashes. Completing the look with stationery by Clare.
Entertainment The Little Red Bus is a photo booth with a difference. Rory is a red VW camper van which can also be used for your wedding transport. Dawson & Co can keep your guests entertained with luxury Dunstaple Ice cream, they even have a dairy free option available on request. \Their topping table is a hit with children and adults a like! Sorrelli Strings are an established string ensemble based in North Devon, comprised predominantly of three sisters 'Sorelle', having studied at the UK's top music conservatoires they are now professional string players, performing at weddings and concerts throughout the country.
Flowers Petal & Posie creates the most beautiful displays, from bouquets to buttonholes to tying in your table centres and cake flowers, Denise has an extensive knowledge on what flowers would work for your day and has recently been using dried flowers as well as fresh flowers.
Bell Tents Native Tents is a luxury tent hire providing furnished cotton canvas bell tents which are hugely popular, for versatile glamping accommodation. They cater for all group sizes and are perfect when extra accommodation for your guests is needed.
